Testing Required
 

If it has a plug it needs to be tested periodically.

Any equipment which connects to 230/240Vac or 110/115Vac supply needs to have regular safety checks.

All the following equipment needs to be tested.

Kitchen appliances:

        Kettles, Toasters, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, Refrigerators, Freezers, Electric Knives, Electric Cookers, Coffee Makers.

Utilities:

        Washing Machines, Dryers, Irons.

Office Equipment:

        Desk lamps, Computers, IEC leads, extension leads, printers, fax machines, telephone systems, photocopiers, chargers for mobile phones etc., scanners.

Hairdressing and Beauty:

        Hairdryers, curlers, straighteners, sunbeds, irrigation machines,

Tools:

        Electric drills, sanders, saws, routers, screwdrivers.

Audio and Video:

        Portable radios, TV, DVD and Video equipment, audio equipment.

Music industry:

        Guitar and PA amplifiers, Portable lighting systems, mixers, Cordless PA, Key boards and electric organs,

Construction:

        Drills, picks, screwdrivers, hoists, concrete mixers.

Horticulture:

        Hedge-clippers, strimmers, chainsaws, mowers, leaf collectors, mulchers, extension leads

Farming:

        Portable dryers, cleaning equipment, cropping.

Automotive:

        Computer diagnostics, electric screw-drivers, optical alignment equipment.
